Student Registration 2022-2023

Enrollment process for students residing in the Ayers attendance area for the 2022-2023 school year for Grades KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE (see the instructions at the bottom of the page for TK):
AERIES Internet Registration (AIR) is available to start the process of registering a student for school; this only starts the process, it does not complete it. This is only for students who have never been enrolled in a school within the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. In addition to pre-registering online, parents or guardians will still need to present additional completed paperwork and required documents. If your student has been enrolled in a MDUSD school or has been assessed in our school district, please do not use the AIR process, however, complete step 2 and call our office for more information (925) 682-7686.
1) Compete the on-line AIR registration here if your child has NEVER been registered with MDUSD. Please select school year 2022-2023.
2) Pick up an Additional Ayers paperwork package from our school office (Grades Kindergarten-5th grade).
The following items are required to complete the registration process:
1) AIR on-line registration
2) Birth certificate or passport
3) Printed immunization record from a HEALTH CARE provider indicating that all immunization requirements have been met.
4) Current Driver's License/ID card of parent/guardian
5) TWO original documents to verify where the child resides. See following list for qualifying documents. Only 1 item per category:
- Current valid vehicle registration
- State or Federal Tax Return filed within the past 12 months
- Current voter registration receipt with address
- Other identification or communication from a government agency
- Property Tax Bill with parents' name and property address
- Rental/Lease agreement with parent's name, student's name
- Current payroll stub/check
- UTILITY BILLS ARE NOT ACCEPTED
6) Completed additional Ayers paperwork packet.
Grades Kindergarten - Fifth - Once you've completed the steps above, please contact the Ayers office to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be available beginning February 1, 2022. Email heinzd@mdusd.org or call the school office at (925) 682-8000 ext. 85701
- Children born between Sept 2, 2016 - Sept 1, 2017 are eligible to register for our 2022-2023 Kindergarten class.
Appointments are available for families residing in our attendance area. If you're applying for a transfer, you will need to register at your resident school.
Transitional Kindergarten ONLY: Complete the on-line AIR Registration (link above), then register for an enrollment appointment through this link - TK registration appointment At this time, there is no additional Ayers paperwork to pick up for TK students.
- Children born between Sept 2, 2017 - Feb 2, 2018 are eligible to register for the 2022-2023 Transitional Kindergarten class.
- Registration for TK is by appointment only (location will be listed at the time you make the appointment).
